Privacy Policy
This policy explains what happens to the information you give me when you apply for BECOMING — The Man You Were Meant to Be, or when you contact me through this site.
Who is responsible
Michael Mrad, operating as an individual, based in Spain.
Contact: micheal.mrad4320@gmail.com
I am the data controller for the information described below.
What I collect
Only what you choose to send me. There is no tracking on this site.
When you submit an application:
- Your name and age
- Your country and city
- Your email address and WhatsApp number
- Your occupation and whether you work remotely
- Whether you dance
- Your written answers about your current challenges, what you want to transform, what you have already tried, why you are considering this now, and what would make the ninety days meaningful for you
- Your answer about readiness to invest, and anything else you choose to add
When you email or message me: whatever that message contains.
Sensitive information
The application asks open questions about your life. Some people choose to write about health, mental health, relationships or beliefs. You are never required to. Please share only what you are comfortable sharing. Where you do include such information voluntarily, I process it on the basis of your explicit consent, given when you tick the consent box on the form.
Why I collect it, and on what legal basis
- To read and assess your application and decide whether the programme is a genuine fit — steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
- To contact you by email or WhatsApp about your application — your consent (Article 6(1)(a)), given on the form.
- To deliver the programme, if you join — performance of our contract (Article 6(1)(b)).
I do not use your information for advertising, and I do not sell or share it for marketing.
Where it is stored
Two places, and no others:
- Netlify hosts this website and receives your application when you press submit. Your submission is stored in my Netlify account. Netlify is based in the United States; transfers outside the EEA are covered by the safeguards in their data processing terms.
- Google (Gmail) — a copy of each submission is emailed to me, and any correspondence between us sits in my inbox.
This site also loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser requests those font files from Google’s servers, which means Google receives your IP address. I do not receive that information and it is not linked to your application. I intend to move these fonts onto my own server so this request no longer happens.
What this site does not do
- No cookies are set
- No analytics — I do not know who visits, or how many
- No advertising or tracking pixels of any kind
- Nothing you type into the reflective moments on this site — the slider, the words you select, the breathing sections — is recorded, stored or sent anywhere. Those are private to you.
How long I keep it
- If we do not work together: I keep your application for up to twelve months, in case you apply again or we resume the conversation, and then delete it. Ask me sooner and I will delete it sooner.
- If we do work together: I keep what is necessary for the duration of the programme and afterwards only for as long as required for legal, tax or accounting obligations under Spanish law.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask me to:
- Give you a copy of the information I hold about you
- Correct anything inaccurate
- Delete it
- Restrict or object to how I use it
- Send it to you, or to someone else, in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting anything done before you withdrew it
Write to micheal.mrad4320@gmail.com and say what you would like. I will respond within one month. There is no charge, and you do not need to give a reason to ask for deletion.
If you are unhappy
Please tell me first — I would rather fix it directly. You also have the right to complain to the Spanish data protection authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD), at www.aepd.es, or to the supervisory authority in your own country.
Children
This programme is for adults. The site is not directed at anyone under 18, and I do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
